Sonam Sherpa is our local business partner and runs iTREK Everest’s operations in Nepal.  With 18 years of guiding experience he has organized and guided trips to nearly every corner of the country.  He is originally from the Solokhumbu region which is just below Lukla so when you fly to the Everest region to start your journey you will be flying over his family home.  When Sonam is not working with our guests he spends his time helping his family on their kiwi fruit farm and staying up late cheering for Manchester City.  Sonam comes from a long line of proud Sherpas and he along with his wife Yandi are the parents of two beautiful children Hishi & Jamyang.
